Decoy9 is an encrypted vault for your private notes. Everything stays on your device, with no accounts, no telemetry and no cloud. Identity is a local key. An unknown public key waits in a pending list on this device. A link in a saved note stays hidden until you choose to look. This page does not phone home. Peer-to-peer messaging is in development.

Cryptographic identity

Identity is a key the person holds, not a phone number handed to a directory. No telephone number is required.

No network in this build

This build does not connect to another person and does not use a relay. Peer-to-peer messaging is in development.

Encrypted on this device

Notes are sealed on the device before they are saved. The company has no copy and cannot read them. Sealing a note to another person is in development.

Local-first storage

Records stay encrypted on the device. They are not harvested into a profile, and they are not sold.

Install Decoy9 on your own device.

The Windows setup opens the age and conduct gate. The file starts only after I Agree & Download. The app archive and each Android ABI package link straight to the GitHub release. The Windows MSI, macOS, and Linux packages are still in pre-deployment. Pro is coming soon and does not download an installer.
